Computer Science / Engineering
Computer Science and Engineering accounts are handled on a separate system; if you are a CS or Engineering student, be sure to use the ENCS sign-up form. To create an account, you will need your WSU ID number. If you are a student and don't know your number, contact Student Services at 360-546-9559.
Faculty / Staff
WSU Vancouver faculty and staff are given accounts on our Microsoft Exchange e-mail server. We can set up accounts for new employees as soon as a network ID is created. Once you complete that step, contact helplog and request an Exchange e-mail account. Please include your full name, Network ID, whether you're staff, faculty, adjunct, or grad student, and what department you're in.
Outlook
Microsoft Outlook is the main program that handles all aspects of communication through e-mail and shared calendars. It is a part of the Microsoft Office suite and is probably already installed on your computer. If not, our campus has purchased licenses to cover all campus faculty and staff. There is no Mac version of Outlook but Entourage, part of the Mac Office suite, provides most of the features available to Outlook users.
Entourage
Microsoft Entourage is the Exchange client for Macintosh computers. It is bundled with most version of Mac Office. Entourage provides most of Outlook's features.
Outlook Web Access (OWA)
When you are away from your computer running Outlook, you may access nearly all of Outlook's features through Outlook Web Access (OWA).
