Wireless internet access is available across much of the WSU Vancouver campus. This coverage includes:

• Administration Building: the cafeteria and most of the 2nd floor are covered
• Multimedia Classroom Building: most of the building is covered
• Classroom Building: most of the building is covered
• Library: the main room is covered, as well as the second floor in the area of the classrooms
• Firstenburg Student Commons: most of the building is covered
• Student Services Building: Most of the 1st floor and Bookie are covered
• Engineering/Life Sciences Building: most of the building is covered
• Education/Human Development Building: The 1st floor classroom area is covered
• Outside: most of the quad is covered, as well as the area in front of the Bookie

To connect, simply connect to the WSUV network among your available wireless networks. Once connected, try to go to a website address and you should be redirected to a WSU Vancouver login screen. Once you log in (using your network ID and password), you should then be able to go elsewhere. The redirect to the login page sometimes is not triggered by bookmarks or default homepages. In this case, manually type any address into the address bar, press enter, and you should be redirected. If you run into problems with the wireless, limited help is available from computer lab assistants or from our VIT office in VCLS 214.
